Serving his hometown and the state of Telangana for more than 38 years, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has irrevocably dedicated his lifetime to the development of his people and empowering youth to make a difference. Right from the inception of his career, he was actively involved in youth politics. As the NSUI District in charge, he brought in new agendas such as educational and university reforms. He started at the ground level and worked up to contest the assembly elections in 1999. Since then he has served the people of Nalgonda as their MLA for 20 years, 5 years a Cabinet Minister, and 5 years as MP of Bhongir. He now serves as Telangana’s Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography.

He fought for the well-being, development, education, and safety of his people, by showing his solidarity to the public in every instance, going on hunger strikes to lend a voice to their case, conducting job melas to empower the youth, organizing awareness campaigns on road safety, blood donation & health camps and many more.
